Instructor Bios

Chris is the Co-Owner of Hearts & Hoses and teaches ACLS, PALS and BLS. He is currently employed at the Rancho Santa Fe Fire Department as a Firefighter Paramedic. He has over 14 years of experience in the pre-hospital setting. He holds a degree in Fire Science.

Christina is also CO-Owner of Hearts & Hoses and teaches ACLS, PALS and BLS. She is currently employed with Scripps Hospital in Encinitas as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. Christina has over 9 years of Emergency Room experience. She also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from UCSD and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from San Diego State University.

Luke  is currently one of our ACLS and BLS instructors.  He is also employed by the Rancho Santa Fe Fire Protection District as a full time Firefighter Paramedic.  Luke has over 10 years of experience working in EMS and the Pre-Hospital setting.  Luke holds a Bachelor’s Degree from UCSC as well as a Graduate Certificate in Science Communication.  He also holds an Associates Degree in Fire Science Technology.

Susan heads our BLS Department and holds a Bachelors Degree from Cal State San Bernardino in Communications. She puts in many hours volunteering around the County of San Diego. She also is an event palnner and owns her own business called "Into the Sky Events".
